Point estimates and 95% Krinsky–Robb confidence intervals are shown. These show the probability of choosing an MCT for the attribute level, relative to the reference (omitted) category, all else being equal. For continuous attributes, preferences are estimated at the margin (i.e. denote the effect on MCT choice of a one-unit change in that attribute). Accordingly, we express preferences in multiple units: Number of Cancers Tested for (10 extra). PPV and NPV are scientific measures for which positive and negative test accuracies were used as proxies in the survey.
