Same number of A172 glioma cells, expressing circPRKCI shRNA (“Seq-1/Seq-2”) or scramble non-sense control shRNA (“sh-c”), were intracranially injected into the brain of SCID mice (5–6 week old, eight mice per group), after 21 days the animals were sacrificed and tumor volumes (a), tumor weights (b), and mouse body weights (c) recorded. Tumor tissue lysates were analyzed by qPCR and western blotting assays to test listed genes (d–f). E2F7 and RIG-1 protein expression was quantified (f).
