Fig. 4: Downregulation of TRAF3 inhibited activation of MAPKs and the NF-κB signaling pathway in SAH mice.

A Western blotting of MAPKs at 24 h after SAH. Quantitative analysis results revealed that SAH increased the expression of p-P38 (B), p-P44/42 (C), and p-JNK (D). TRAF3 siRNA treatment significantly reduced the expression of p-P38, p-P44/42, and p-JNK. E Western blotting of the NF-κB signal pathway at 24 h after SAH. The protein expression levels of NF-κB nuclear subunits p-P65 (F) and P65 (G) were increased in SAH and SAH + control siRNA groups compared with the sham group and downregulated in the SAH + TRAF3 siRNA group. The expression of IκBα (H) was increased in the sham group compared to the SAH and SAH + control siRNA groups; it was substantially reduced and reversed in the SAH + TRAF3 siRNA group. N = 6 mice per group. *p < 0.05 versus the sham group, #p < 0.05 versus the SAH group.
