Black: experimentally derived PIE curve; blue: benzocorannulene PIE curve; green: calculated ionization onset of trans−4-(1-buten-3-yne)corannulene; orange: calculated ionization onset of cis−4-(3-buten-1-yne)corannulene. The overall error bars (gray area) consist of two parts: 1 σ error of the PIE curve averaged over the individual scans and ±10% based on the accuracy of the photodiode.
