The red dots and black lines represent the normalized size distribution of the diameter of BC-containing particles (Dp) and linear regression, respectively. Observations in Nanjing were conducted in different seasons. Data in Lulang and Maqu were observed over the Tibetan Plateau in spring 2021. Observations in Shaoguan, Beijing31, Tokyo30, Sacramento24, and Amazon Tall Tower Observatory (ATTO) were performed in December 2020, November 2014, August 2012, June 2010, and October 2019, respectively. The map shows simulated BC radiative forcing at top of atmosphere (TOA).
