The original version of this Article contained an error in Fig. 7b, in which the colour bar indicating the level of annual precipitation was mislabelled. The correct values for the annual precipitation (mm) should be “1000”, “2000”, “3000”, and “4000”. In addition, the original version of this Article contained an error in the last paragraph of the Results section, which incorrectly read ‘In Southeast China Hills with annual precipitation more than 15000 mm…’. The correct version replaces this sentence with ‘In Southeast China Hills with annual precipitation more than 1500 mm…’. These have been corrected in both the PDF and HTML versions of the Article.
