At 2 weeks post boost immunization, the vaccinated mice were challenged by A/Puerto Rico/8/34 (A) and A/Aichi/2/1968 (B) viruses. Body weight loss and survival rates of mice were recorded every day after the virus challenge for 14 days (n = 5). Mice were sacrificed on day 4 post infection to determine lung viral titer by TCID50 assays. (n = 3, one-way ANOVA with Tukey multiple comparison), *P < 0.05, **P < 0.01.
