Assessment of nitrogen transformation process rates in groundwater incubations by linear regression of measured increase in 15N over time for (a) nitrification with 15NH4+ label, (b) anammox with 15NH4+ label and (c) anammox with 15NO2- label. Shown are the slopes of the regression line for each replicate and control sample from which nitrification and anammox rates were calculated. R2 values describe the accuracy of the linearity and p-values the significance of results for p < 0.05.
