Candidalysin aggregation was determined in aqueous solution as the count rate of aggregates in a concentration range between 0.05 µM and 100 µM by DLS. Statistical analysis was performed with an unpaired, two-tailed t-test relative to the lowest CaL concentration (0.05 µM) with a statistically significant change starting at 1 µM. n = 3 experiments, ** p = 0.0072, mean ± s.d., more statistical parameters are listed in the Source Data Extended Data Fig. 7.
