Related to Fig. 2. a, b, Flow cytometry histograms of anti-E-cadherin (a) and anti-N-cadherin (b) staining in melanoma cells from subcutaneous tumours of mice treated with DMSO (control) or AZD3965. Human keratinocytes were included as a control in each case as they are known to include subpopulations of E-cadherin- and N-cadherin-positive cells. In xenografts, human melanoma cells were distinguished from mouse cells based on positivity for HLA-ABC and DsRed and negativity for mouse CD31, CD45 and Ter119 staining (see Extended Data Fig. 9e, f for gating strategy).
