HeLa cells transfected with constructs encoding FP-PB1 were imaged using WF microscopy. StayGold is abbreviated as SG. The constructs are grouped into three categories: SG, tandem dimers, and monomers, from left to right. For each construct, the percentage of cells scored without fluorescent puncta is plotted (black dots) (top) and one representative close-up image is shown (bottom). The logarithmic gray scale (2.5–4.8) indicates that the lowest and highest fluorescence intensities of all the images are 102.5 and 104.8, respectively. Transfection was repeated three times; the mean scores are shown by gray bars with numerical values (top). Scale bar, 20 µm.
