MAEs calculated between quantiles of varying numbers of MESMER realizations for a single FaIR GMT trajectory and for each grid point (e.g. the MAE for sample size 100 indicates the MAE calculated between quantiles estimated based on 1000 realizations and quantiles based on 100 emulations). The comparison of quantiles is shown for 6 randomly selected ESMs (the results for all ESMs are shown in Figure S3).
