  1. SD: Standard deviation. Hatching rate = number of surviving embryos at the stage of hatching/number of fertilized eggs × 100%. Embryonic development was observed at a water temperature of 22 °C using a Meiji RZ Stereo microscope. One hundred fertilized eggs selected at random from each group were examined, and six replicates of each fish were included. The criteria for evaluating the early embryonic development of 2nNCRC were described by Liu (2001).
