Comparison of ΔYB-1acteyl values of the hemodialysis and control cohort with systemic cytokine values. Healthy controls and hemodialysis patients were divided into non-responders or responders as described in Fig. 3 and the correlation to systemic cytokine values determined. Data are presented as a heat map, see scale below. Blue represents a negative correlation, whereas red indicates a positive correlation coefficient. Correlation of cytokine/chemokine concentrations was performed by calculating Spearman’s rank correlation coefficients. Levels of significance are provided (Spearman rho analysis; bold p < 0.05).
