(a) Experimental setup arranged in transmission Debye-Scherrer geometry at the MEC end station of the LCLS. Dual drive laser beams were incident on samples at 15° and the XFEL beam at 30° from the target normal. (b) Experimental setup in Bragg geometry at the BL3:EH5 of SACLA. Grazing-incidence angle of the XFEL towards the target was 18° and drive laser beam was incident on samples at 18° from the target normal.
