From: Gfi1 upregulates c-Myc expression and promotes c-Myc-driven cell proliferation
Gfi1 upregulates the expression of c-Myc protein. Hela cells were transfected with fixed amounts of Gfi1 and increasing amounts of c-Myc (A), or with fixed amount of c-Myc and increasing amounts of Gfi1 (B). BaF/MycER/Gfi1 (C) and 32D/MycER/Gfi1 (D) cells were treated with Dox, 4-HT or both for 24 h. The expression of indicated proteins was examined by Western blot analysis (left panels). Full-length blots are presented in Supplementary Fig. 6. MycER mRNA levels were quantitated by qRT-PCR (right panels). Data are shown at mean ± SD.
