The rate of change of MT2A-expression vs. Apoptosis rate (A) and vs. viability-rate (B). Three phenotypes could be observed. MSTO-211H cells showed increased gene expression of MT2A and decreased apoptosis rates after cisplatin treatment. NCI-H2452 cells showed neither response to cisplatin treatment nor changes in apoptosis rates. NCI-H2052 cells showed the highest apoptosis rates, while MT2A expression was not changed after cisplatin treatment.
