Study design of siRNA knockdown-experiments. Cell lines were treated with siRNA for knockdown of MT1A, MT1B and MT2A expression. Cells were treated with cisplatin and, after 48 h of incubation, were analyzed for apoptosis, necrosis and viability. Additionally, FFPE specimens were generated for gene- and protein expression analysis. As we generated one FFPE specimen for each condition in each cell line.
