Comparison of DNAm age and chronological age in cases and controls. (a) While the control matched the chronological age on the horizontal axis and the DNAm age on the vertical axis, the DNAm age was higher than the chronological age in the donor after cord blood transplantation. There was a strong correlation between chronological age and DNAm age in both control and cord blood transplant cases. (b) The mean of AgeAccel in controls (mean; 1.01, 95% CI, 0.88–1.14) was significantly lower than cord blood transplant cases (mean; 2.84, 95% CI, 2.51–3.17) (t-test, P < 0.001).
