Pie charts represent the proportions of stock groupings sampled from regions adapted from DFO’s Marine Adaptive Zones39 (black borders, text in right panel). Total Chinook sampled in each zone provided. Total sampled per zone and stock percentages for all species are in Tables S1, S2, S3. Basemap data are from the GSHHG (Global Self-consistent, Hierarchical, High-resolution Geography) Database38. The coordinate system for the data is WGS 1984 and the maps are projected in NAD 1983.
