FOXK1 stimulates proliferation, migration and invasion of ESCC cells through upregulation of CDK4. (a) Transfection efficiency of CDK4 knockdown in KYSE170 cells, examined by qRT-PCR assays. (b, c) The impacts of knockdown of CDK4 on the proliferation capacity of KYSE170 cells overexpressing FOXK1 were verified by MTS (b) and colony formation (c) assays. (d, e) The effects of CDK4 deficiency on migration and invasion of FOXK1 overexpressing KYSE170 cells were examined using wound healing (d) and transwell (e) assays.
