HPLC chromatogram of distigmine, (TR = 4.45 min) and its degradation product, THMP, (TR = 1.91 min), on a C18 Zorbax TM analytical column, using aqueous 0.01 M sodium-1-heptane sulphonate (adjusted to pH: 3.0 with dilute phosphoric acid): acetonitrile (70:30 v/v) as a mobile phase with 1.0 mL/min flow rate and UV detection at 220 nm.
