The effects of boron on mRNA expression of proliferation and apoptosis genes before and after PI3K/Akt inhibition. Q-PCR was used to analyze the effects of boron on the expression of PCNA and Caspase-3 mRNA in IEC-6 cells before and after PI3K and Akt were inhibited by LY294002 and MK-2206 2HCL, respectively.
