Effects of boron on protein expression of cell proliferation and apoptosis genes before and after PI3K/Akt inhibition. Western-blot was used to analyze the effects of boron on the expression levels of PCNA and Caspase-3 proteins in IEC 6 cells before and after PI3K and Akt were inhibited by LY294002 and MK-2206 2HCL, respectively.
