From: Enhancement of quantum synchronization in triple-cavity system

Schematic illustration of an optomechanical system comprising three mechanical oscillators with frequencies \(\omega _{m1}\), \(\omega _{m2}\) and \(\omega _{m3}\). Each oscillator is placed in a separate optical cavity, where the cavity modes \(a_1\), \(a_2\) and \(a_3\) are driven by laser beams with common amplitude E. These driving fields induce displacements \(q_1\), \(q_2\) and \(q_3\) in the oscillators from their equilibrium positions caused by the radiation pressure of the driving fields. The subsystems are connected via optical fibers with coupling constant \(\lambda _{1,2,3}\), enabling the system to switch between open and closed configurations.
