The amplitudes’ signs indicate a spatial separation (Methods). Negative amplitudes are associated with induced Act and Inf phenotypes. The full list of additional transcripts can be found in Supplementary Data 3. C The transcripts identified in the Act and Inf phenotypes were used to perform the single-sample gene set enrichment analysis (ssGSEA, “Methods”). Among patients with both Inf+/Act+ or Inf−/Act− four biological categories (e.g., angiogenesis, EMT, hypoxia, and IL6/JAL/STAT3 signaling) enrichment scores are displayed (T-test, P value *<0.05, **<0.01, ****<0.0001).
