Fig. 3: XPS measurements on PtSe2, SPtSe, and sulfide samples.

Se and S CLs of the different samples studied in this work, i.e., a pristine non-sulfurized PtSe2 (green), the Janus SPtSe (red), and a fully substituted PtS2 (blue). The take-off angle is 45°. From a to c different binding energy ranges are shown: a Se 3s and S 2s, b Se 3p and S 2d, and c Se 3d. All the samples were first annealed in vacuum prior to the measurements.
