Bladder laceration might result from vigorous application of an oversized curved cable passer during trans-obturator surgery with limited visibility. A Bladder laceration was observed in our cadaver study, where an oversized cable passer was used to transfer the cable from one side to the other. The bladder injury was confirmed by (B) visual inspection during preparation, and observation of (C) extravasation of contrast fluid around the pubis symphysis and (D) entrapped air in the bladder in computed tomography (CT) images obtained before full anatomical dissection.
