A, D Staining showed collagen deposition within the leaf scaffold after just one week of implantation. There was also a small collagenous encapsulation that had formed. There was an increase in the amount of collagen being deposited within the leaf scaffold after both two (B, E) and four (C, F) weeks of implantation.
