What should I say or do if my boss's opinion is totally not maki

正在做一个BIG project, 老板给了一个技术上的instruction, 事实上完全是不对的。有16个人在email里，其中大概只有我和那个VENDOR engineer 懂具体的技术。我马上就知道这个instruction是错的，可能需要一段时间那个 VENDOR engineer才会知道。

一方面因为是老板我说话要小心，另一方面，我也不想放弃这个机会。

我应该如何处理，说或者做什么？
