2016年12月中旬女婿去上海出差；在女婿公务结束时，女儿飞到上海与他会合，一起到扬州、南京、杭州、和义乌探望双方的祖父母和外祖父母。女儿女婿虽然成长和接受教育于美国，但由于亲家夫妇和我们夫妇在孩子们的成长过程中几乎每年带他们回国探望（外）祖父母，因此，女儿女婿与各自的（外）祖父母感情都很深，并且受长辈亲人的影响比较大。以下这首有关（外）祖父母的歌《Grandparents’ Day Song》比较能代表他们的经历和情感。
先生为了方便浙江义乌父母与两位年轻人的交流，于12月22号飞回国陪伴老父母和孩子们，那是2016年先生第3次回国探亲。孩子们在国内与（外）祖父母度过了一段美好的时光。现将先生陪伴女儿女婿在浙江义乌探亲记录于此。

照片1-3：与我们秋天10月份探亲相隔仅2个月，婆家山村四周便是截然不同的景色，给人萧索寂寥的感觉。看着先生拍摄的这些照片，不禁使我想起唐朝文学家骆宾王（浙江义乌人）《冬日野望》中开头那两句“故人无与晤，安步陟山椒。野静连云卷，川明断雾销。”
