请问懂法国男和法国约会文化的姐妹一个问题

网上和一个在美国的法国男认识将近1周，聊得很好，第一次体验他们如何表达爱和调情，也互相看了照片，互相喜欢。好像按美国约会文化，双方知道基本情况后大家都是会马上约着见面了，但这个法国男说他不喜欢匆忙见面，希望我们在网上再继续交流，build more solid foundation后才能见面，加上工作忙，希望我们能再网上交流2周，他也需要时间准备让第一个约会 be romantic and beautiful, it's important to him, 而我觉得网上聊得再好都是虚的，得尽快见面（喝杯咖啡就行）才能确定喜不喜欢真人。有经历过法国男或懂的姐妹给点意见，法国约会文化是要聊3周才愿意见面吗，这么矫情吗？多谢。
