From: Sema3A secreted by sensory nerve induces bone formation under mechanical loads

Schematic representation of Sema3A in mechanical loads-induced bone formation. In response to mechanical loading, the trigeminal ganglion is activated and releases Sema3A to interact with hPDLC. Sema3A further maintains cytoskeletal rearrangements in hPDLC by activating ROCK2 signaling, directing mitochondrial dynamics toward mitochondrial fusion. These responses are instrumental in preserving the osteogenic differentiation potential of hPDLC under mechanical loads
