The black arrow indicates the maximum amplitude of the electrical switching \({\triangle G}_{E}\). The red and blue arrows respectively indicate the amplitude of the optical switching \({\triangle G}_{{Op}}\) in the OFF and ON states respectively. Optical stimuli drive the junction towards intermediate states.
