Warming TP strengthens the South Asian high (SAH), triggering the southwestward propagating wave activity flux (WAF) and the high-level anomalous cyclone and westerly wind in the western North Pacific, weakening the vertical wind shear (VWS) in the MT area, and strengthening TC intensity.
