The median EDGE score for each jawed vertebrate family, with interior branches coloured by the median EDGE score of all species within descendant families, measured in millions of years (MY). EDGE scores calculated using the EDGE2 protocol. Phylogeny constructed for visualisation by stitching together a single constituent phylogeny from the distributions used for each group, with inter-clade node ages taken from the TimeTree of Life85.
