Fig. 1: Expression of human GPR37 in the adult brain.
From: GPR37 processing in neurodegeneration: a potential marker for Parkinson’s Disease progression rate

Distribution of normalized GPR37 expression in the different populations in the prefrontal cortex (PFC) (A) and striatum (B) snRNA-seq dataset, excluding all nuclei with zero GPR37 expression. Data sets were obtained from 9 (A) and 8 (B) control subjects from two previous publications33,37. The x-axis represents the normalized and log-transformed mRNA expression of GPR37, while the y-axis represents the number of nuclei. The inset graph shows the same representation but excludes oligodendrocytes. Abbreviations: Excitatory neurons (Ex Neurons), inhibitory neurons (Inh Neurons), mature oligodendrocytes (Oligos), oligodendrocyte precursor cells (OPCs) and medium spiny neurons (MSNs). C Immunoblots showing the expression of GPR37, myelin associated glycoprotein (MAG), and Olig 2 in a sample of pooled human PFC and striatum. Myelin and non-myelin extracts were isolated by sucrose gradients and loaded into separate wells. The sample prior to the isolation process (crude) was also analysed. GAPDH was used to determine the amount of protein loaded into each well.
