Results of the chi-square test calculating the residuals, that is, the difference between the observed and the expected frequency of each combination of actor and response type. Residuals below −2 and above 2 can be considered as contributing most to the significant result (P < 0.001) of the chi-square test. Positive residuals (green) indicate a higher observed frequency of a respective actor–response type combination, and negative residuals (purple) indicate a lower frequency than expected.
