Univariate BWAS effect sizes from correlations (linear bivariate r) between fluid intelligence and edge-wise RSFC are shown for HCP, ABCD and UKB study samples. The ABCD (n = 3,928) and UKB (n = 32,572) datasets were subsampled (with replacement) 100 times to match the HCP sample size (n = 900), revealing consistent effect sizes (medians: HCP |r| = 0.03, ABCD |r| = 0.03, UKB |r| = 0.02).
