Nexp is the number of exposures brighter than the given magnitude threshold, Texp is the total exposure time, Ton is the total time with a flare detected and the bounds are 97.5% confidence intervals (see Methods section ‘Flare observational characteristics’) on the duty cycle Ton/Texp.
