In addition to club cell labeling, Scgb1a1-CreER also labels a subset of AT2 cells (arrowheads). (b) Immunostaining for CC10, SPC and tdTomato on lung tissue sections from Scgb1a1-CreER;R26-tdTomato mice treated with 0.025 mg/g tamoxifen. A significant fewer tdTomato+ AT2 cells (arrowhead) were detected in 0.025 mg/g tamoxifen treated mice (b) compared with 0.2 mg/g tamoxifen treated mice (a).
