Detection of stromelysin expression in paired normal and cancer-associated stromal fibroblasts and prostate cancer cell lines. Conditioned media obtained from the normal HS27ARWV and prostate cancer-associated HS27AC4-2 bone stromal fibroblasts (a,c), four paired benign- and cancer-associated prostate fibroblasts (b,d), and a serial of prostate cancer cell lines (e,f) were analyzed through an ELISA for quantitative detection of stromelysin 1 (MMP-3) (a,b,e) and stromelysin 2 (MMP-10) (c,d,f) protein expressions. Assays were performed in three independent experiments in triplicates. Data are presented as the mean ± SD of triplicate determinations of one representative experiment. *p < 0.001.
