From: Exploring Voluntary Vaccinating Behaviors using Evolutionary N-person Threshold Games

The effects of average degree on the final vaccine coverage level for varying relative cost c on regular networks, random regular networks, small-world networks, and scale-free networks. The basic reproduction number is R 0 = 2.0. The results are averaged over 50 independent network simulations with size N = 5000. When the relative cost is small, the final vaccine coverage level is lower for networks with larger average degree than those with smaller average degree; as the relative cost increases, the vaccine coverage level deceases more quickly for networks with smaller average degree.
