  1. The FDR values calculated in the two preceding steps of NeTFactor are also shown for reference, along with the number of biomarker genes regulated by each TF, as well as genes cumulatively regulated by it and all the TFs preceding it. These results show that ETV4 and PPARG are the strongest TF regulators of the asthma biomarker, as they are the only ones that are significantly associated with asthma (FDRVIPER ≤ 0.05) as well as significant regulators of the biomarker (FDRBIOMARKER ≤ 0.05).
