Middle and right: For P3b, there was a positive correlation between the P3b latency and RT, and a negative correlation between the P3b amplitude and RT at the Pz site in the calculation task. As suggested, the longer latency and smaller amplitude will result in a longer RT, indicating that in complex tasks, processing speed affects RT. In addition, the more resources allocated, the shorter the RT was. r = Pearson’s correlation coefficient.
