Blockade ERK1/2 activation prevents orexin-induced lipogenesis in LMH cells. Pharmacological inhibition of ERK1/2 using PD98059, as confirmed by Western blot (a) and immunofluorescence (b), blocked the effect of orexin on the expression lipgenic factors (c–e).
