From: FOXK1 regulates malignant progression and radiosensitivity through direct transcriptional activation of CDC25A and CDK4 in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma

Figure 8

FOXK1 attenuates radiosensitivity of ESCC cells through upregulation of CDC25A and CDK4. (a) The radiosensitivity was tested by colony formation assays after downregulation of CDC25A in FOXK1 overexpressing KYSE170 and TE1 cells. (b) The influence of irradiation on cell viability was determined by MTS assays following knockdown of CDC25A in FOXK1 overexpressing KYSE170 and TE1 cells. (c) Cellular radiosensitivity was examined by colony formation assays after knockdown of CDK4 in FOXK1 overexpressing KYSE170 and TE1 cells. (d) The effect of irradiation on cell viability was ascertained using MTS assays after silencing CDC25A in FOXK1 overexpressing KYSE170 and TE1 cells. Data presented are the mean ± SD from at least three independent experiments. *P < 0.05, **P < 0.01.
