FA B cells are incompetent to suppress the cytokine release from EICs. B cells were isolated from FA PBMCs by FCM cell sorting; the remaining cells are used as EICs. EICs were treated with the conditions denoted on the X axis of bar graphs. The ratio of B cells and EICs was 1:4. The culture supernatant was collected 24 h later, and analyzed by ELISA. Bars show mean ± SD of the amounts of indicated molecules in supernatant. Each dot in bars presents one sample. Statistics: ANOVA + Bonferroni test. p values are presented in figures where appropriate.
