The spatial heterogeneity of peritumoral brain zone (PBZ) in glioblastoma, where 90% of reoccurrence occurs, remains poorly characterised. Here, the authors suggest that high cerebral blood flow regions in the PBZ are the main regions of tumour and immune cell infiltration.
