Membrane remodeling by FAM92A1 during brain development regulates neuronal morphology, synaptic function, and cognition

The conserved BAR ___domain protein FAM92A1 is known to induce membrane curvature. Here, the authors report the crystal structure of its BAR ___domain and perform an extensive characterization of the brain and behavior of FAM92A1 knockout mice.

Repression of LSD1 potentiates homologous recombination-proficient ovarian cancer to PARP inhibitors through down-regulation of BRCA1/2 and RAD51

Here, the authors identify lysine-specific demethylase 1 is a homologous recombination (HR) regulator. Its inhibitor induces HR deficiency and sensitizes HR-proficient ovarian cancer cells to PARP inhibitors, which expand the use of PARP inhibitors.
